DOGA - Yoga for You and your Pooch

Yoga is an ancient practice that remains popular today because of its many benefits.  By integrating various postures (asanas) with breath awareness, we can encourage a balanced state of relaxation and alertness.  Yoga helps teach us to stay in the present moment (something our dogs already know how to do). The practice helps us to be the very best that we can be!  By joining our two loves – our yoga practice and spending time with our special dog buddies – we are creating a new bonding experience that will benefit all of us.  Using the reinforcement of small healthy treats, we will be coaxing the “dogis” into positions similar to those that benefit their human counterparts.

We are asking that your dog have some basic obedience skills.  If you are not a returning client of HeRo Canine Consulting LLC, please call or email Silke Wittig at: 570-458-5749, cell: 574-612-8170 or contact@herocanineconsulting.com prior to registration to ensure that your dog is an appropriate candidate for the course.

The things we plan to do will all be fairly simple and fun for people and pets alike.  All sizes, breeds, and ages are welcome.  You do want to be able to get up and down from the floor.  We are also suggesting that two people accompany your dog.

Cost: $60.00 for a 4-week course (first class orientation/human yoga instruction/canine demo without clients' dogs)

Next starting date: Sunday October 3rd, 2010 at 4:00 PM (ends October 24th, 2010)

Classes will be held at Wagging Tail Doggie Day Care, 95 E 10th Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815
