We offer customized dog training and behavior modification programs, based on you and your dogs' needs. Our schedule is flexible to better serve you. Pet manners training and behavior modification programs are based on "positive reinforcement (reward based)" training methodology. Cost per training session: Driving distance from Consultant’s home will be charged at $0.50 per mile both ways. Fees are due at the end of each training session unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
Cancellation Policy:
PRIVATE EVALUATION AND BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION SESSIONS If you wish to schedule an EVALUATION and/or BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION (regarding fear and/or aggression) session, you need to first fill out the history questionnaire and training contract and send them back to HeRo Canine Consulting LLC at the contact information provided at the end of the questionnaire. Alternatively you can drop them off at Wagging Tail Doggie Day Care. Download the questionnaire here as a Word Document or a PDF file. Get the "Training Contract" from here. We will develop a customized behavior modification program for your family and dogs based on the information you provide and then contact you to set up an appointment and discuss further details. The initial behavior modification consult will be held at Wagging Tail Doggie Day Care, 95 E 10th Street in Bloomsburg. This is a neutral territory for the dogs, and the environment is very controlled and safe for everyone and every dog involved. Follow-up sessions may be held at the dog owner’s home or other locations at the consultant’s discretion. The first consult usually consists of the evaluation of your dog, discussion of issues that may affect your dog’s behavior, management and prevention techniques, canine body language and signals, environmental factors, family goals, trainer recommendations and a question and answer session. The second session (preferably approx. two weeks after the first session) comprises the implementation and practice of actual training and behavior modification exercises which are tailored to your needs and circumstances. We can schedule more sessions as required. However, there is no fixed number of sessions that you need to sign up for.

Cancellation Policy: A 24‐hour cancellation notice is required. No‐shows and insufficient cancellation notice will result in the full charge of the minimum session fee.
